Trip to the land of Denmark !

Hello hello ! Smile

As you may know, i'm coming to Denmark [hopefully] next August with some friends ! My friends will stay for a week or so..and i should spend few more days ! We should arrive on the 1st of August..or the 3.. we don't really know yet, but it's in the first week of August.. Smile i'll go back to France around the 20th !

And anyway, we're checking some stuff before this trip (money, things to do etc..) and, an important point is coming, where the hell are we going to sleep Puzzled

Cause according to some books i'm reading now, it cost A LOT of money to sleep in a hotel Angry.. we thought about camping but..damn we're going to freeze during the night (remember that we're from South of France, and south of France in august is around 35-40°C Tongue...

So guys, if you're around Copenhagen, your advices about places to sleep will be welcome ! We should be around 3-4 persons.. and we don't have A LOT of money Laughing out loud
For when my friends will be gone, i already found a place to stay Laughing out loud

Well in Denmark we have something called "Vandrehjem". It's basicly only beds and sometimes including your own bathroom. And the possibility to make your own dinner in a kitchen.

I am not sure about the prices though.
But when I saw Gigi at the Plaze in march 07, me and me friend spent about 54€ for one night.

Oh Shit Laughing out loud Yeah that's a lot ! for ONE NIGHT? daaaaamn.. well thanks for this advice Laughing out loud I'll check some ! haha..damn here in france for 2persons..your own bedroom + breakfast is only 17€ a night..

Yeah, Denmark is EXTREMELY expensive!

But when we are on vacation out of Denmark we are living like nobles:p

If you want your own bathroom and such a youth hostel is the cheapest way.. But you can camp in a tent too.. I don't know about the prices but it should be cheaper especially if you bring your own tent Wink
August is the hottest month in Denmark too so it shouldn't be that cold in the night.. around 10-15*C and 20-25*C during the day.

You don't need to exchange money and get DKK.. you can pay with credit card everywhere around here.

I'm a fan of travelling so, since i know few people outhere, i think it could be nice to visit the country with their advices and meet them Smile !

The Plaze is located 140km from Copenhagen.. and they are not playing any italo at all anymore because they got a new owner - So I'm not going there Wink

Yeah we have a lot of people from Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries working here.. especially from Poland. I think around 80% of the newspaper delivery boys here are from Poland xD

I don't blame them - you are well paid here even with a shitty job, the downside is that everything seems to be a lot more expensive than in eastern europe Wink

Only problem is pickpockets and organised theft which is increasing due to the immigration from especially Poland.

I think they are nice people generally.. just not very good at english Tongue

And that's a shame for Poland. But no matter what nationality, everywhere are good and bad people.

Hah yea we don't know English well generally, but people who do, usually don't go abroad to be a paperboy.
Now the English classes are introduced to the youngest kids so maybe in the future we won't be so baaad in this language Laughing out loud

About the polish people in DK ...the main part of them works as construction workers, and a few has been on TV in the NEWS because they have been stealing and cheating people xD - so not the best reputation here Smile

BTW is someone of you guys have a big house? cause since we're like...only 3..maybe we could pay to sleep in your house or something..cause DAMN it cost really much to sleep in a nice place..
