I must admit, that i like italodance above 130 bpm, but i like some lento too :- )

I prefer italodance too... but Lento Violento is unavoidable if you have an italo-radio station it's simply not complete without it!
And there is plenty of lovely lento tracks out there I'm sure you like one or two of them too Silvo Noise Wink

We upgraded our hardware and software today.

Can you hear the sound difference on the radio?

The quality should be alot better, and a wider stereo sound. and more :- )

Currently we are running at 128 kbps.
But it allmost (if not) sounds like a 256 kbps stream.

We are planing to setup two extra streams.

So we will have:

56 kbps (for thoose with a poor connection)
128 kbps (the one we use now, a very good quality stream)
256 kbps (Extreme good quality for the people with abit more connection)

Great that you could hear the difference :- )

Our NONSTOP Server:

Right now its an:

intel core 2
4500+ Ghz - dual cpu.
2 gb ram
500 GB Harddisc
Windows Silly.

It will be upgraded soon though, allthough it dosnt need to.
We have made a small server "box", with cooling fans etc.

That it will be mounted into soon.

We are just waiting for the internet connection.

and a second harddisc.
and maybe switch to Windows Server 2003

Our Stream Server - the one that hosts all of the listeners is a:

Intel Dual Quad Core 2.5 (8x CPU's)
Dual 500gb SATA Hd's
1gb net connection

Running Fedora Core 7 (linux alike)

We are sharing this machine with some other people (Shared)
