as some of you might have already known I flew to Turin these days in order to visit BlissCo! I basically met the whole staff and was welcomed very warmly, it was a real pleasure! smile Everyone treated me very hospitably, you can’t imagine how emotional the farewell was… once more a big thank and a big hug to everyone!
Now to some things that will probably raise your interest:
Yes, Eiffel 65 have been working on new songs in the last two years. Luckily I was granted to sneak a peek at some of the demos Jeffrey was talking about earlier. What can I tell? It isn’t „Europop“. It isn’t „Contact“. It isn’t „Eiffel 65“ (the album) either. So you think it sounds like some of the recent Blissco releases („I’m so alive“, „Move Your Body 2010“)? Hmm, neither.
It’s a new, refreshing, contemporary dance pop sound – but it’s still got the Eiffel 65 vibe to it (you can feel it!)! Even though some of the songs might be a tiny little bit slower than what we are used to listen from the guys, all of them will certainly work on the dancefloor. Most importantly: The melodies are catchy as hell. And this is what Eiffel 65 songs are famous for! I already picked my favorite ones…
I know that some of you are longing for a new single and the new album, desperately. But now after my trip I understand why it takes them so long to produce it… and I can only suggest to stay patient and be supportive. Once you get to listen to the new releases you will realize that the long waiting eventually paid off! Unfortunately I can’t tell you much more than this at this moment.
I’ve been talking to Jeff extensively and had an interview with him. The interview is going to be released soon on Eiffel 65’s website and it will likely contain some news that will make you guys jump out of your chairs. Also Jeff will explain a lot of things about Bloom 06 and the reasons for the re-union of Eiffel 65. Stay tuned!
